Does anyone have tips of getting out of the weird phase of wanting to talk about your ocs / original story but putting it off because you want to make sure everything is perfect first?
I feel like I can’t say or draw something then retcon it later it feels so set in stone.
I am a major procrastinator in general, I just can’t wrap my head around starting something without knowing every detail first

I look at my art and it’s so wildly inconsistent sometimes but that is just part of improving I guess. It just feels strange where you get past the phase of fast very noticeable improvement to smaller more specific improvement.
Sometimes I make a art and I think it does not look bad, but it is not how I want my art to look. That is what I am struggling with my latest drawing I think.
i know I want to improve my rendering but I want to keep my style too. But I also want to improve it. So confusing.
