I look at my art and it’s so wildly inconsistent sometimes but that is just part of improving I guess. It just feels strange where you get past the phase of fast very noticeable improvement to smaller more specific improvement.
Sometimes I make a art and I think it does not look bad, but it is not how I want my art to look. That is what I am struggling with my latest drawing I think.
i know I want to improve my rendering but I want to keep my style too. But I also want to improve it. So confusing.

I feel you- I was at that stage for years (not to scare you) but I think thats totally normal. Now there are 2 things you can do
Just wait like me? draw whenever you want etc and you will get your art improved- or the fast way: do that BUT also with tutorials
Either way, I think you shouldn't feel bad about your art

Yes I have been trying to focus on things I need to improve on, like drawing clothes, rendering, etc. it just kinda feels like I have hit a platue even though I know I am improving in different areas
That being said people seemed to of really liked the drawing that got me feeling like this, so I will take a step back to figure out if this is how I really feel or if I’m just in a bad mood.
